Our My Town Rocks Family

The My Town Rocks Network began with the launch of Cheltenham Rocks in 2016. Since then, the network has grown, and we now have 10 sites covering different areas across England.

Cheltenham Rocks

Cheltenham Rocks launched in 2016 and is managed by mum of two Laura. She runs the website alongside her digital marketing business, and life with two young boys. Visit the website here to find Things to do in Cheltenham.


Cirencester Rocks

Cirencester Rocks was launched in the summer of 2017 and is managed by Amy. Amy is a mum two children and as a family they all adore the variety and intimacy that Cirencester has to offer. Amy also works alongside two other local Mums who know Cirencester inside and out and help her to market the website to local families and businesses. The Mendips Rocks

My Town Rocks member Sarah launched The Mendips Rock in May 2019 and is looking forward to launching Weston-Super-Mare Rocks in May 2021. Sarah is a long-term resident of Somerset, who is passionate about the beauty of the county and sharing all the fantastic things going on with others. Guildford Rocks

Guildford Rocks was launched in October 2019 and is managed by Laura. Laura is mum to a 4 year old and a 1 year old. She works part time in marketing at a local charity, so she juggles the kids and Guildford Rocks around that. It’s not easy but she loves what she does and the flexibility of running the website is great. Guildford Rocks has just had a site refresh and Laura is really excited to start sharing lots of events and activities with all the followers again. Coventry Rocks

Coventry Rocks launched in December 2019 and is run by Jess. Jess is a busy working mum of 2 very lively girls, and when she’s not working, she is usually out exploring somewhere new with her family. Farnham Rocks

Farnham Rocks launched in February 2020. It is managed by Liz who lives locally with her family and loves finding local, family friendly activities and events for everyone to enjoy. Lincoln Rocks

Lincoln Rocks launched in March 2020 and is run by Amelia. Amelia is mummy to 2 little boys and before launching Lincoln Rocks, she was a teacher and parenting blogger. Amelia runs the website from home and loves how it fits perfectly around family life. Lincoln Rocks has helped them discover so many amazing places around Lincolnshire as a family, and they love nothing more than to head out to discover a new local walk, playground or fun local attraction (stopping by at a great local cafe for a hot chocolate or ice cream along the way of course!). Isle of White Rocks

Isle of Wight Rocks launched in October 2020 and is managed by Fiona, a working mum of two little ones. Based in Ryde, Fiona loves the great outdoors and, as a family, the weekends are spent heading to a playground or beach, enjoying a picnic or cafe visit. She shares the Island’s strong community spirit and wants the website to reflect this, while providing a useful resource to help families get out exploring and enjoying all the Island has to offer. Wokingham Rocks

Wokingham Rocks launched in February 2021 and is one of the newest additions to the My Town Rocks family. Wokingham Rocks is managed Hannah, mum of 2 little ones and self-confessed social media addict. Hannah created Wokingham Rocks while on maternity leave during lockdown to help other young families with inspiration for family friendly days out and activities all in one place. Gloucester Rocks

Gloucester Rocks was re-launched in March 2021. Gloucester Rocks is managed by Hannah, a busy mum of 3, a six year old and three year old twins. Hannah runs a garage business with her husband and does some freelance design and marketing work here and there.
