We're so lucky to have lots of great family-friendly music festivals on our doorstep where the family entertainment isn't just limited to great live music. These festivals also have lots going on for the kids too, from workshops and storytelling, to circus skills and crafts.
CHELTENHAM FESTIVALS
Wychwood Festival
When: 2nd - 4th June, 2023
Where: Cheltenham Racecourse
This year is set to be Wychwood's best yet, with a stellar line-up of acts, more family fun than you can poke a stick at, and delicious treats to keep you going all weekend.
This year they are welcoming Happy-Mondays, Travis, Melanie C, Ash, The Proclaimers, Scouting For Girls, Heather Small, Soul II Soul, Toploader, Republica plus LOADS more.
Under 10s go free, and there is simply oodles for little ones to enjoy, from workshops and crafts, to kids entertainment, circus skills and Mr Motivator kick starting Sunday morning in style.

2000 Trees festival
When: 5th-8th July, 2023
Where: Upcote Farm, Withington, Gloucestershire. GL54 4BL
The multi-award-winning 2000trees festival is a 3 day extravaganza set in the stunning Cotswold Hills. You’ll get 3 nights camping, a friendly, intimate atmosphere plus amazing food and locally produced ciders, ales & lagers. Described as one of the friendliest festivals you’ll ever go to, it’s perfect to attend with a group of mates or on your own, because you’re guaranteed to make new friends.
2000trees is all about the music and they’ll give over 130 of the best bands that the world has to offer.

GLOUCESTER FESTIVALS
Barn on the Farm
When: 29th June - 3rd July, 2023

Barn on the Farm is an independent family-friendly festival that focuses on finding the diamonds in the rough and giving them a place to shine. Ed Sheeran, James Bay, Ben Howard, Hozier, George Ezra, Bastille, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Jack Garratt, Rag 'N' Bone Man, Bear's Den, Wolf Alice and many more have graced the barn floor in previous years; one can only imagine how many future award winners will take to the stage, so don't miss your chance to catch the spark before the wildfire spreads. The festival has a strong emphasis on intimacy, breaking the boundaries between audience and artist. Barn on the Farm strives to create a festival family that comes together to share a special and unique experience, an experience that fans come back for year on year.

The Big Feastival

Taking place on Alex James' beautiful Cotswolds farm, The Big Feastival brings together music from the UK’s biggest artists, Michelin star chefs live on stage, award-winning street food and an exciting array of family activities, in an action packed weekend and unrivalled programme of entertainment.
Expect to sing along at the top of your voice to the first class musical line up on their main stage, dance the night away at their family silent disco, catch awesome DJ sets from some of your favourite names at the Cheese Hub, along with countless stand out performances across the several musical stages to explore across the farm.
Family entertainment is also at the forefront of Feastival programming, little festival-goers will be wowed with the highest calibre of enchanting performances, wild workshops, crafting, meet & greets with some of their favourite characters and so much more.
