It's exciting times at Cheltenham's Leisure At, as work has now begun on the new sport, fitness and play facilities for locals.

One of the most exciting additions for families is the new Splash Pad - a large aquatic play space with lots for youngsters to do, helping them to build their water confidence whilst having lots of fun.

Other changes and additions include:

• Extension of the existing Gym
• Dedicated functional training space
• 2 New Studios
• Introduction of Les Mills Virtual classes
• Refurbished Changing Facilities
• New Pool Pod Hoist for disabled access
• Refurbished Reception Area
• Improved Customer Access Control

The schedule of work is available on the dedicated Cheltenham Leisure Development website where there are also details of any disruption to normal service such as area closures and changes to class venues. The hope is to have all the areas ready for use by summer.

Also on the website there is an area to sign up for the latest news on the development plus an invitation to preview the shiny new facilities once they are ready.
