Picnics are for life, not just for summer! Barber Wood is looked after by The Woodland Trust. There’s a small car park, which tends to fill up quite quickly, so either go early or go at lunch time!

Toilets? No. Refreshments? No.

Buggy friendly? I’m sure you’d be fine with an off-road buggy on the paths, but a sling or carrier would give you way more freedom to roam!

You can also access Ullen Wood from the same car park. This is a private woodland, but the owners allow people to use the footpaths running through it.
