The largest park in Cheltenham is split into two sides: On the east side you’ll find a huge play area with Kiosk, Pittville Pump Room, aviaries, lake, toilets, Central Cross Café and lots of green space which host events throughout the year.
On the west side is the boating lake and Boathouse, pitch and putt golf course, tennis courts, natural play equipment, skateboarding/BMX area and beautiful flowers and trees.
The two sides are linked by a tunnel which runs underneath Evesham Road.
There is free parking at Pittville Pump Room, plus a few parking spaces on Evesham Road, some on Pittville Lawn and a small car park near the golf course (GL50 4NG). If the car park is full, just off Evesham Road on West Drive there is some free street parking which usually has spaces with 1-4 hour stay limits, GL50 4LB.
The Boathouse opens for the Summer season on 8th April – find out more about what they have planned here.
There are 3 tennis courts at Pittville Park and you can book a court online here.

From In The Park
Pittville lower lake is one of the finest places to go fishing in Gloucestershire: eels, dace, pike, roach, carp, bream and sardines all have been caught here (and thrown back to swim again). You can get the best possible access to the water’s edge thanks to four fishing platforms and two specialist stations for use by disabled anglers.
