If you’re looking for a quieter option to the craziness of Pittville or Montpellier, Hatherley Park is a great spot with lots going for it.

Whilst there are some things for the older kids (basketball hoop and large climb frame), Hatherley Park really comes into it’s own if you have pre-schoolers.

Once in the park there’s a pretty lake with very friendly ducks and some good spots for feeding.

The toddler play area has quite a lot of activities including cradle-swings, a slide, train and seesaw and crucially, just one entrance/exit which is handy if you’re trying to keep an eye on two.
