Welcome to Nurturing Beginnings, high quality baby & toddler classes, parenting support & workshops in Cheltenham. Our well loved classes are relaxed, friendly and child centred for you and your little one to make the most of your time together from birth to pre-schooler.

We offer three days of classes ranging from Baby Massage, Story Explorers, Baby Yoga, Nurturing Beginnings Postnatal, Baby Makaton, Nurturing Beginnings Explorers, Daddy Explores and Storytime, Stretch and Sing. Please see below the days that our classes are on and follow the links to book:

Wednesdays:
Story Explorers -  Immerse your child in the magical experience of storytelling, imagination and movement with Cheltenham’s well loved children’s entertainer Phil. Enter a world of creativity, fun, music and sensory experiences bringing your child a wealth of learning opportunities:

Baby Makaton - Baby Makaton is our exciting class teaching a fantastic communication style that helps deepen connection and comprehension between parent and child. Sessions are fun, interactive, and designed to equip families with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to use Makaton signs and symbols in everyday life.
Baby Makaton ADVANCED (0-12months) - 9.45am - 10.45am. £63 for 7 sessions

Baby Massage - Our course builds up a variety of rhythmic strokes carefully designed to soothe and calm young babies with the use of organic sunflower oil. Baby massage is entirely baby led and we follow the babies’ cues to ensure it is an enjoyable experience for you and your baby.

Thursdays:
Baby Yoga - Baby yoga empowers you with the skills to deliver over clothes massage, breathing techniques, stretching and movements for your baby; alongside a selection of songs, rhymes, actions and sensory play.
Baby Yoga (2-8months) - 1.40pm - 2.35pm. £70 for 7 sessions, single sessions available

Nurturing Beginnings Postnatal - Our inclusive and welcoming group is the perfect place to meet people, enjoy a hot drink & Cakes By Sarah, and allow your Little One to grow & develop in a fun, safe, and nurturing environment.
Nurturing Beginnings Postnatal (0-9months) - 11am - 12pm - £5 per session.

Nurturing Beginnings Explorers - NB Explorers is our popular Baby & Toddler Group, come and enjoy all your favourite toys and songs alongside friends old and new.

Storytime, Stretch and Sing - During our storytime, stretch & sing classes we spend time together reading interactive stories, learn and practise baby yoga movement and stretches, sing plenty of songs & rhymes, enjoy sensory experiences & explore heuristic treasure baskets with your baby.
Storytime, Stretch and Sing - 12.30pm - 1.25pm. £8 per session or £49.50 for 7 class booking.

Saturdays:
Daddy Explorers - Open to all dads with children aged newborn to preschool, Daddy Explorers provides a wide range of toys, books, and interactive activities tailored to the age of your Little One to support their social and emotional development.
