A lovely low-cost Saturday morning option for families, with breakfast and a new-to-you book thrown in. The Cosy Nook is a Cheltenham community book initiative focused on making reading more accessible and affordable, and its weekly Book Breakfast is designed to help families stock the bookshelf without spending a penny.

The Cosy Nook Community Books Book Breakfast

Children can choose a free book to take home and have a basic breakfast, with toast, fruit and similar options on offer. Grown-ups get free tea and coffee too, which is a particularly handy detail for an 8am start.

There are also books for all ages and interests available to buy, and The Cosy Nook accepts book donations if you've got some ready for a new home.
