There are three main routes up the hill, depending on whether you are in the mood for wildlife, woodland or geology. Allow a good couple of hours for each of the routes, especially with little legs in tow and with a significant amount of uphill walking!

The car park is large and is open from 8am until dusk. Parking is free. Next to the car park, there is a lovely (unfenced) play area, with a climbing frame and a rather wonderful slide! There are also some fabulous wooden sculptures dotted around the base of the hill, which Ace adored clambering all over!

There are toilets next to the car park.
