Nature in Art is passionate about supporting local artists and craftspeople, showcasing the wide variety of crafts and creativity found within the local community. Throughout the year, the museum hosts a series of two-day Mini Craft Markets in the Education Centre, where up to 12 crafters sell unique handmade items.

Previous markets have featured a wonderful mix of crafts including nature-inspired creations, paper crafts, woodwork, paintings, illustration, crochet and knitting, weaving, decoupage, handmade cards, glasswork, silk painting, textile bags, jewellery, resin art and fluid art.

The Mini Craft Markets are free to enter and offer a lovely opportunity to browse, shop and support local makers.

2026 Mini Craft Market dates:

• 28 and 29 March 2026
• 16 and 17 May 2026
• 25 and 26 July 2026
• 12 and 13 September 2026
• 5 and 6 December 2026 (10am to 3.45pm)

Time: 10am to 4.30pm

Cost: Free entry
