Lakeside Fireworks Night

Lakeside Primary School's annual Fireworks Night is back this November, with a professional fireworks display and refreshments to keep everyone going while they wait for the big show. It's a popular Cheltenham event, and with no tickets available on the gate, you'll need to plan ahead.

Lakeside School Fireworks Night 2026

• Date: Thursday 5th November 2026

• Time: Gates open at 5pm, fireworks at approximately 6.30pm. Last entry at 6.15pm.

• Cost: £5 per person, plus booking fees. Children aged 2 and under go free.

• Location: Lakeside Primary School, Hatherley Road, Cheltenham, GL51 6HR

• Booking required: Tickets must be purchased online by Friday 30th October. No tickets available on the gate.

• Book: Lakeside PTA Fireworks Tickets

Organised by Lakeside PTA, the evening includes a professional fireworks display, with food and refreshments available to buy from The Full Monty. The PTA will also be selling glow sticks and light-up toys, with both cash and card accepted.

A few things worth knowing before you go:

• Tickets are digital, so have your barcode ready to scan at the entrance.

• New for 2026, group tickets allow everyone to enter using one barcode, but you'll need to arrive together.

• There's no bonfire, and sparklers aren't permitted.

• Ear defenders will be available to buy for £5 per pair.

• The playground won't be lit, so bringing a torch is a good idea.

• The school car park won't be available during the event.

• Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.

Tickets are limited and the PTA says the event sells out every year, so don't leave booking until the last minute.

The event may be postponed or cancelled in unfavourable weather, so keep an eye on the official Lakeside PTA Facebook page for updates.
