Fireworks from Shurdy PTFA

Shurdington School's annual fireworks display is back on Friday 6 November, with an early evening display, hot food, drinks and entertainment. It's a handy option for families who'd rather not wait until late for the fireworks, but make sure you're through the gates before the 6.15pm cut-off.

There's more than just the fireworks to look forward to, with hot food, hot and cold drinks and entertainment planned for the evening.

If you're going as a family, it's worth checking the ticket options before you go. Advance tickets are cheaper than paying on the gate, and the £27 family ticket covers two adults and three children over the age of two.

A couple of things worth knowing: The organisers say the professional display can go ahead in most weather conditions. However, extreme weather or high winds could mean postponement. Tickets would transfer to the new date, but they're non-refundable.

And don't get caught out by the timings. Although the fireworks start at 6.30pm, last entry is at 6.15pm.
