Beckford Nature Reserve
Beckford Nature Reserve is a 20 minute drive from Cheltenham, it's just off the A46 near Tewkesbury. It’s owned by the village of Beckford and is run as a charity (donations are welcome via the collection box on the south hide).
The reserve centres around a large lake which is surrounded by a 1km pathway. The reserve is the perfect spot to take toddlers and young children for some outdoor fun. There’s wildlife to spot, plenty of sticks to collect and space to run free!
The best place to park is on the main street in Beckford. You can then enter the reserve via Court Farm Lane. Disabled access and very limited disabled parking can be found at the Ashton Road entrance. It's free to enter the reserve.
Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on leads.
