Arle Grove Nature Reserve
Arle Grove is a small, Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust nature reserve off the A40, near Whittington. There isn't much of a walk involved within the nature reserve, but you can pick up the Cotswold Way nearby if you want to make more of a day of it. We walked a loop of the small reserve, then veered off in all directions to play in the woodland. With a little imagination and lots of chatter, we wiled away a good few hours building dens, fairy gardens and even a nature park complete with dog lead swing and nature trampoline (aka a pile of bouncy moss)!
Parking is in a lay-by opposite the nature reserve, there's space for 4/5 cars. There are no toilets nearby and nowhere to buy refreshments.
