Elm Farm Play Area

Parks & Walks

Elm Farm play area is accessible from Springbank Road or Fiddlers Green Lane. On street parking can be found on both sides.

There’s a small, enclosed play area, with swings and play equipment for toddlers and primary school aged children. Highlights include the tall, metal side and the mini roundabout, which can be used standing or seated.

There’s also a large, open grassy area which is great for football games and picnics. Springbank Stores is a 30 second walk from the play area too, so you’re all set for ice cream afterwards!

The kids and I tried to go to Kilkenny Viewpoint back in lockdown, but the postcode I found kept taking me to a farm and in the end we gave up and went to good old Lineover instead! 😂 Today, armed with a grid reference instead of a postcode, we found it! It’s a small reserve with a short trail around it, some pretty awesome trees to climb and some cool hills to play amongst. It was so nice to be out in the fresh air after last weekend’s washout! Grid Reference: SP004185 Car Park? Yes. Large and free. Toilets? No. Buggy friendly? Not really. It’s quite steep and there’s loads of cow pat to avoid. A sling or carrier would definitely be best. #glosfamilydaysout #familydayout #kilkennyviewpoint #andoversford #gloucestershire #visitgloucestershire #outdoorsandhappy #outsideisfree #freshairiscalling #exploretheoutdoorswithus #littleadventuredays #teamgore #familytime #littlehotdogwatson #warmwellies #supportsmallbusiness #cows #views #horse #climbingtrees #autumnvibes #autumn #littlewanderingwellies #wheremywelliestakeme #101thingsthatmakemesmile #countrykidsfun #pinklinker
