A family walk from Frankie Chapman

Time: flexible
Pushchair friendly? Not really

"We parked at Koloshi restaurant car park on the edge of Charlton Kings, cross over the road and look for the wooden sign pointing into the hedgerow.. Follow the path down and follow the road along to the right (bends round to the left) - watch out for tractors!

Once heading round you will walk up a small hill and pass through a gate, carry on up and after a minute or so you will see the reservoir to your right.

Its a lovely place to just sit and take in the scenery - you can walk along to the end but will then have to walk back on yourself as there is no further access - but its quite a nice spot for the kids to run back and forth.

Once you have taken in the view you can head back out on to the path and walk further up into the woods. Lots of big trees to explore and the path is easy for little ones to navigate. The path will drop down to the right and take you along the side of the water and eventually you will find yourself back by the start of the reservoir."
