Cheltenham Trust is bringing the seaside to the Heritage Café Bar at Pittville Pump Room this bank holiday weekend with a children’s show from the popular Squashbox Theatre.

The theatre company will be presenting two free shows of The Sea Show

Friday 28 August at 11am and 2pm

The Sea Show is suitable for children aged five and over and is a quirky mix of puppet show, natural history and comedy cabaret including tall tales, silly slapstick, fantastic facts and live music and songs.

Young visitors will be able to enjoy the shows with a children’s lunchbox from the café bar. The boxes at £5.50 include a sandwich, crisps, drink, piece of cake and piece of fruit. Ice creams and the full café bar menu is also available.

Meet crazy characters like Morwenna the mermaid, Ruan the reformed seagull and salty seadog Captain Pemburthy, as well as a cast of mischievous sea-squirts, anemones, limpets, crabs and pilchards.

The show is part of The Cheltenham Trust’s programme of free entertainment and live music at the Heritage Café Bar.
