The Royal International Air Tattoo

The World's Greatest Airshow! Few events can rival the intensity, drama and spectacle on offer at the world's greatest airshow. The Air Tattoo returns this July to RAF Fairford with one of the most diverse flying displays in the world.

Why are we the World's greatest airshow?

This year we've got over 30 air arms so far confirmed from over 20 different nations, which means the Air Tattoo is thebest place to see military aircraft on display to the public. See our list of confirmed aircraft - including two Spanish Navy Harriers, the Ukrainian Su-27, US Air Force F-16 Viper Demo Team, Frecce Tricolori, RAF F-35B Lightning and more!

Visit the Glastonbury of airshows, the Air Tattoo, on Friday 19th - Sunday 21st July at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire! The Air Tattoo, one of the UK's premier outdoor events, returns this summer to wow the crowds and inspire the future of the RAF. The theme this year is Air & Space: Inspiring the Next Generation Airforce.

RAF100 at the Air Tattoo will be a full three-day event, with over 7 hours of amazing flying on all three days. Friday will be a day not to miss, featuring a Royal Review of aircraft, a 7hr+ flying display and dramatic flypasts to celebrate the Centenary. Due to the nature of this event, flying participants may be different on each day.

The Air Tattoo is staged in support of the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust, a charity set up in 2005 to support the wider RAF family. As well as seeking to develop a spirit of air-mindedness in youngsters, it also aims to promote excellence with the Royal Air Force.
