From the Alternative Book Club in the evening comes... the Alternative Book Club in the daytime!

The Daytime Alternative Book Club is a comedy show crossed with a book club for parents with babies and toddlers. Get out of the house and prepare to be entertained – and informed – by a line up of four brilliant comics who will be dissecting anything Lit: from John Milton’s Paradise Lost to Kim Kardashian’s Selfie, and everything in between. And don't worry, you don't actually need to read anything...

You're welcome to feed, rock, bring toys - anything you need to do to soothe your little one(s) - and don't worry, no one's going to stare or stress if they cry! It's also not a bad place to meet other likeminded parents.

This show will be hosted in the lovely Matcham's Restaurant on the third floor at The Everyman Theatre (the same level as the car park or press 3 in the lift). Doors open at 10.30am with the show starting at 11. The ground floor cafe will be serving all the hot drinks/snacks you need after yet another sleepless night so order downstairs and it will be brought up.

Grandparents, cool aunts & uncles, carers, godparents, guardians, anyone who doesn't mind babies are all welcome!

*The Alternative Book Club should be accessible to all so a number of donation based tickets are available.
