Saturday Storytime

On Saturday 9th October 9:30-11:30am, at School House Café, join boty Author Dani and Illustrator Anna in conjunction with The Motherhood Society, in our very own cosy reading corner for storytime and a fun and creative craft activity based on the woodland characters of the book. Tickets are limited and include tea, coffee and cake for the adults and refreshments for the children too. 

‘Away’ is a beautifully written and illustrated children’s book aimed at early years. It’s a magical story, exploring themes around waste and the environment through the introduction of some really enchanting woodland creatures, including deer, badger and owl, who are puzzled by a strange item – a plastic bag. We think it’s a wonderful way to introduce your children to the impact we have on the planet and our responsibility to protect it.
