Sandford Park Fest returns this May with a packed programme of live music, family entertainment, food stalls and fundraising fun, all helping support a brand-new children’s playground in Cheltenham.

This year’s festival celebrates Cheltenham’s 75 years of twinning with an international theme and promises a fantastic day out for all ages, filled with live performances, children’s activities, food and community fun.

Live Music and Entertainment

The 2026 line-up includes an exciting mix of local performers and festival favourites including:

• Rubin Spicer
• Curious Choir
• Yeti's Breakfast
• Cheltenham Silver Band
• Mr Panmaestro steel band
• International violinist Tetiana Hnilytska
• The Cheltenham Singing Choir Group
• The Music Man

Expect everything from uplifting choir performances and steel band sounds to live acoustic music and family entertainment throughout the day.

Children’s Fancy Dress Competition

Families can also enjoy the Children’s Fancy Dress Competition, taking place from 12 noon.

• Theme: Sparkles, Space & Superheroes
• Entry: Free
• Age categories: 3–5 years, 5–7 years and 7–12 years

Children are encouraged to come dressed as superheroes, cosmic adventurers or sparkling stars, with rosettes awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each category.

Food and Family Fun

Alongside the music and performances, visitors can enjoy:

• Classic cars
• Festival food stalls
• Fancy dress fun
• Community fundraising activities

Food highlights include sweet and savoury crêpes from The Cotswold Pancake Company, jacket potatoes from Spud Shack and smash burgers, hot dogs and fries from The Dogs Street Food.
