The Royal - Summer Festival 2023! 

Yes, it’s almost that time again when the great and good of Charlton Kings flock to the Royal for a jolly good knees up to finish off the summer and enjoy our last Bank Holiday of the year, all in support of the Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice.

Our ale and cider bar will be here and we’ll be firing up the pizza oven during the weekend as well as our normal menu available in the pub and a BBQ on Monday.

SUNDAY 27th sees the return of our annual DOG SHOW. We are delighted that Murphy’s Dog Grooming is supporting and judging the event. Then we have a real musical treat at 5pm when we are joined by Monkey Jam. If you still have the energy left our famous Mega Quiz takes place at 8pm. (£2 per person, teams up to six, with big prizes on offer).

We’ve booked the sunshine and a host of brilliant musicians for MONDAY 28TH with Hambling & Lloyd, the Rhythm Slingers, Mark Walby Duo, Steel Weasels and Slowjin. Plus, there’s plenty to entertain the little ones with children’s craft activities, Cheltenham Face Painting and the ever brilliant Music Man.
