Nature Week at Sudeley Castle

Head to Sudeley Castle this May Half Term for a week of outdoor adventures, nature discovery and family fun during the return of Nature Week.

May Half Term: Nature Week at Sudeley Castle

  • Location: Sudeley Castle, Winchcombe
  • Price: Activities available with general admission

Nature Week celebrates the important role trees play in supporting wildlife, nature and history, with a programme of hands-on activities designed to help families explore the outdoors together.

From discovering remarkable trees around the grounds to getting creative with nature-inspired crafts, there are plenty of opportunities for children to learn, play and explore in the beautiful surroundings of Sudeley Castle.

Tree Trail - New for 2026

Follow a brand-new self-guided Tree Trail showcasing some of Sudeley's most fascinating trees, from English oaks to ancient fossil trees.

Children can collect stamps along the route while discovering the stories behind some of the castle's most impressive specimens, including the magnificent 200-year-old Cedar of Lebanon beside the Chapel.

  • Cost: £1 per child
  • Collection Point: Visitor Centre
  • General admission applies

Forest School and Arts & Crafts

Dates: Monday 25th, Wednesday 27th and Friday 29th May

Hosted by outdoor learning specialists Dig & Delve, these popular sessions offer children the chance to immerse themselves in nature through forest school activities and creative arts and crafts.

Families can choose from drop-in craft activities or sign up for engaging forest school sessions designed to bring the natural world to life.

  • Location: Near the Willow Maze
  • Price: Free with standard admission
