National Apple Day at Dunkertons!

Mark your calendars for a weekend filled with the crisp, juicy goodness of apples, as we celebrate National Apple Day in style

🥳 Get the kids involved in the colouring competition to win some prizes and if you come on a Saturday morning Hocus Pocus will be on the cinema screens for families to enjoy

All day – open to everyone, dogs welcome. Join us for a ‘fruitful’ weekend that combines the Dunkertons Cider tradition of apple pressing with live music, rugby screenings and delicious food. 

Shane Mc Bagley is an American classically trained chef turn ‘pit master’ who runs pop-ups, supper clubs and barbecue courses across the UK and Europe. Shane will be firing up the grills to create a range of BBQ tasters made using seasonal organic produce available to buy from Dunkertons farm shop.

Live bands and rugby fill the afternoon and evenings so quench your thirst with apple-infused drinks including organic mulled cider and soak up the atmosphere while feasting on our eateries created range of sweet and savoury ‘apple specials’.

Humble Kusina are serving loaded fries with Adobo Pulled Pork cooked in Dunkertons Cider with a Cabbage & Apple Slaw and Crispy Pork Crackling with a Apple spring rolls served with Ginger Ice-Cream. Woozy Pig are serving their smoked pulled pork special using cider BBQ sauce.

La Boulangerie Artisan are adding the delicious mini tarte tatin which is a classic French dessert made with caramelised apple baked with butter and sugar.
