Skate Jam ’26 takes over Montpellier Skatepark for a full day of skating, starting with free lessons for beginners and under 16s before opening up to all ages for the afternoon. There’ll be competitions, races, giveaways and prizes too, with the event also raising funds for No Child Left Behind and PPL PRS.

The morning session runs from 10am to 12pm and is just for under 16s, with free skate lessons aimed at beginners. Protective gear is recommended, and the organisers are trying to arrange some equipment for the day.

From midday, the skatepark opens up to all ages for races, sumo, competitions, giveaways and prizes.

Everyone taking part needs to complete a waiver to receive a wristband. Under 16s also need permission from a parent or guardian, with forms available in advance or on the day. Under 13s must have a parent or guardian with them at all times.

The organisers will be taking photos and videos during the event. The waiver includes consent, but you can let them know if you'd prefer not to be included.
