Looking for creative family activities this May Half Term? Nature in Art is hosting a series of hands-on art and craft sessions inspired by nature, gardening and the outdoors.
May Half Term Children’s Activity Days at Nature in Art

- Suitable for: Children aged 3+

These fun and creative school holiday sessions take place in the Education Centre and Garden, giving children the chance to explore art, nature and creativity through a variety of hands-on activities.
Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
Session Times
- Morning Session: 10am - 11:30am
- Afternoon Session: 1pm - 2:30pm
Prices
- Monday: £6 per child
- Tuesday to Sunday: £8 per child
- Yoga for Kids: £5 per child
Prices include the art activity plus museum entry for one child and one accompanying adult.
All materials are provided, though families are encouraged to wear old clothes or bring an apron as activities may get messy.
May Half Term Activities
Tuesday 26th May, Yoga & Rock Painting - book here
Children will enjoy a fun yoga session with movement, stretching and games before decorating rocks using acrylic paints.
Wednesday 27th May, Salt Dough & Seed Decorations - book here
Create salt dough decorations using cutters, seeds and beans to make unique nature-inspired designs.
Thursday 28th May, Sun Prints - book here
Explore the gardens collecting greenery and natural materials to create beautiful sun print artwork, alongside other mini nature activities.
Friday 29th May, Nature Journals - book here
Inspired by the gardens and sculptures, children will experiment with pencils, pens, oil pastels and watercolours to create their own nature journals.
Please remember to bring a box to safely take artwork creations home.
