How to Shoot in Manual
Dates arranged privately, location at Catherine's home or yours.
3 Hours £25 per person 4-6 people, suitable for 10 +.
Use your own digital camera or borrow one of Catherine's Canon 250d's.
Join Catherine for a workshop and learn how to use your camera in manual mode. We start the session with a non-techy presentation about the exposure triangle. You'll learn how aperture, shutter speed and ISO combine in infinite ways to make pictures. We'll then go outside to try out some simple guided exercises. We'll capture landscape & macro images and play with light bouncing reflectors. Catherine will be on hand for hints, tips & troubleshooting. After the course you will be emailed a PDF copy of her presentation and some handy 'rule of thumb' jpegs to keep on your phone. You'll leave in full creative control of your camera!
Suitable for beginners or as a refresher. Perfect for anyone wanting to move on from aperture priority mode. Using a DSLR is a fun step up for anyone that loves to take pictures with their phone!
Catherine teaches Years 3 to 6 photography and runs a photography club at Sheepscombe Primary School.
