A concert to celebrate the birthday and music of British Composer Gustav Holst. It is sponsored and promoted by the Holst Victorian House and the Holst Society. Cheltenham Silver Band are pleased to be giving this year’s Holst Birthday Concert.

The Cheltenham Silver Band, conducted by their Musical Director, Adrian Jowett, will be performing several pieces, including pieces by Gustav Holst such as the March from A Moorside Suite. The concert is at All Saints Church in Pittville, the church where Gustav and his father, Adolphus, played the organ, and where Gustav was baptised and was married.
