Join GWSR for a spectacular Bricks Weekend at the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway – a family-friendly event celebrating all things brick-built!

Whether you're a budding young builder or an adult enthusiast, this is a weekend packed full of imagination, engineering, and railway magic.
Your adventure begins on board one of our heritage steam or diesel trains. Sit back and enjoy the journey through the stunning Cotswold countryside as you travel between the event venues.

What’s On:

Tim Mitchell Building, Winchcombe
Get hands-on and create your own masterpieces in our interactive brick-building zone. With tables full of bricks and creative stations, children (and grown-ups!) can build anything from locomotives to imaginary worlds.

Toddington Station
Marvel at fantastic brick-built displays created by talented model builders. Expect engines, railways, landscapes, buildings, and incredible custom creations that will inspire every visitor.

A Brick Adventure by Steam Train

Travel between Cheltenham Racecourse and Broadway on our beautifully restored carriages and enjoy a full day of fun across multiple locations. With activities at both Toddington and Winchcombe stations, there’s something to discover for all!
