Not sure what to do this half-term? Join us at Nature in Art for a children's activity day.

Each ticket includes access to the museum for 1 child and 1 adult, plus the activity itself. Choose from a morning session (10-11:30) or afternoon session (13:00-14:30). All materials are provided, but please bring an apron if you have one! Read on to see all our activities.

Tuesday 17th February: Yoga and Pancake Day Art

First half of activity will be yoga fun and games to get our bodies moving. The second half, we will be cutting our sticking our own dream pancake toppings.

Wednesday 18th February: Warm and Cool Paper Weaving

We will learn about the colour wheel and warm and cool colours to create some abstract watercoloured artwork with extra watercolour skills taught. Once they have dried, we will cut them up and do some intricate paper weaving to interlock the paper together and create a whole new piece of artwork.
 
Thursday 19th February: Mixed Media Winter Collage

Using an array of materials such as tissue paper, paint, buttons, Christmas cards, string, cardboard and so much more, we will create a fun, textured winter scenery.

Friday 20th February: Papier Mache Hot Air Balloon - FULLY BOOKED

We will be getting messy in creating a bright and colourful hot air balloon. We will be using papier mache to create the base then decorating with colourful paper and tissue paper. Lots of mess and lots of fun!
