Alongside the world famous racing, Cheltenham Racecourse is bringing the family festivities for the 2023-24 season with their popular family fun zones, plus an extra special visit in December from Father Christmas!
Find details of the family fun dates lined up this season below, and don't forget under 18s go free with paying adults at every Cheltenham Racecourse race meet.
November Meeting - Friday 17th – Sunday 19th November
Family Fun Zone on Sunday only - Sunday features free family entertainment in the Club/ Tatts Enclosure. See Tweedy the Clown, Hey Duggee, enjoy inflatables and multiple sports challenges all against the backdrop of thrilling racing action. Don’t miss the Mascot Race, which is sure to provide lots of laughs amongst young and older racegoers alike.
Christmas Meeting - Friday 15th – Saturday 16th December
Christmas Family Fun on Saturday only - Looking for that special festive day out or treat? Enjoy the Christmas buzz, with Christmas Extravaganza themed family fun including meeting Santa and his elves in Santa’s Grotto. Santa’s elves will be there to help with your Christmas crafts including - letters to Santa, making a magical Christmas wish to leave on the special night and designing snowflakes.

There is no better way to celebrate on New Year’s Day than with jam-packed action on and off the turf at Cheltenham Racecourse. With top-class racing, live music, and FREE family fun, there is something for everyone.
