Enjoy a hands-on outdoor adventure this summer with stream dipping, mini raft racing and a scenic family walk to the Wash Pool.
Families can follow the trail from Quarry car park down to the Wash Pool, where the team will be waiting with stream dipping equipment and fun activities for children to enjoy.
The Wash Pool is just over a mile from Quarry car park, around a 30-minute leisurely walk. Families are welcome to start from the car park at any time, but it is worth allowing extra time for younger children. The Wash Pool is also a lovely spot for a picnic.

What To Expect
Stream dipping activities

Raft making equipment provided
Scenic family walk from Quarry car park
Picnic-friendly location
Some raft making equipment will be provided, but families are encouraged to bring their own scissors, string and accessories. Children can also collect sticks along the walk to help build their rafts.
Important Information
Wellies are recommended
Closed shoes are essential for entering the water
Aimed at primary school aged children
Younger siblings are welcome
All children must be supervised at all times
Only children need to be booked onto the event
