The family entertainment returns to Cheltenham Racecourse for the November meeting.

'Carnival Sunday' brings the local community together for top-class racing in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The day features six exhilarating races, Shetland pony racing, and a fun-filled mascot race - offering something for everyone. A true celebration of all things Cheltenham, and the perfect way to round off a fantastic weekend of racing.

Freddie The Cheeky Pony
Meet Freddie The Cheeky Pony and pick up a book from his collection, which includes, ‘Freddie goes to Cheltenham' - an exciting tale of the 13hh palomino’s big day out at the Home of Jump Racing, with profits from every book sold donated to the Injured Jockeys Fund.

In The Plaza from 10:30 - 14:30.

They're tough, they're tiny and they're raring to go! Don't miss the return of The Shetland Pony Race at 12:10 on Sunday - this fun and competitive race is an annual highlight of The November Meeting for children and adults alike. Ridden by promising young talent, you could be watching a future champion storm to Cheltenham victory for the very first time!

Back for 2025, the Sue Ryder mascot race brings the finest... (or most willing!!) two-legged athletes in Gloucestershire together to raise money for the Sue Ryder Charity, who offer extensive grief support and hospice services.

Taking place along the final furlong of the track at 13:25, each mascot running in the race is tasked with raising £1000 to as a donation towards to invaluable support that the Charity provides to so many. Who will win the 2025 Mascot Cup...?
