FREE drop-in art activities at The Boathouse, led by Cheltenham Open Studios are happening THIS SATURDAY 25th September!

The FREE Drop-in art activities, run by practising artists, for the whole family to enjoy. All materials provided.

Two different sessions will be taking place, and you can drop in at any point and stay as long or as little as you like.

Session 1: 10am-12pm Get Printing

Have a go at printing a card or wrapping paper or a picture – various types of print making to try. Letterpress, etching and mono printing and so much more.No experience needed – just come and have some fun!

Session 2: 2pm - 4pm Three artists lead on three great activities: Get sketching!

Make your own sketchbook and ‘get all arty’ – you’ll be shown how to make a simple 8 side sketchbook from one sheet of paper, plus a cover. Finished ‘masterpieces’ can be posted to @thisisour.art- Come along and draw boats with charcoal. Starting with some quick sketches and then longer more detail studies. With a great selection of boats for you to observe and draw from at the boathouse.- "Playing with Alcohol inks, discover the vibrancy and versatility of this art medium.”
