A Victorian Christmas Day at Holst Victorian House!
Celebrate Christmas the Victorian way with a whole day of seasonal activities for all the family. There will be a traditional tree to enjoy and the house will be decked throughout with greenery. It’s the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit!

Bake Back in Time for Christmas, 11am-3pm
Join our resident cook as she makes historic festive treats such as gingerbread, Christmas pudding and peppermint creams. There will also be drop scones to sample straight from the Victorian range.

Children’s crafts, 11am-3pm
Make a jam jar lantern to light up your home this Christmas, and Victorian-style Christmas cards to give to your family and friends.

Christmas stories in the Nursery, 12 – 1pm and 2-3pm
Settle in for some Christmas-themed tales in our Victorian nursery.

 Christmas carols in the Drawing Room, 1-2pm
Gather around the piano for a sing-along… or just enjoy the sounds of Christmas cheer as you wander through the house.  

Christmas shopping, 10am-4pm
Come and browse our shop for Christmas cards, books, stocking fillers, and local and handmade items.
