Winchcombe Christmas Festival

Winchcombe Christmas Festival is back for two days in December, with a different way to enjoy the festivities each day. Thursday brings the traditional Christmas market, complete with stalls, carols and live music, while Friday's new Christmas Shopping Trail takes visitors into independent shops and venues around town.

Thursday 3rd December: Christmas Festival & Market

Thursday is the big market day, with more than 50 stalls selling gifts and festive food. Winchcombe's streets will be decorated with over 70 real Christmas trees, and there'll be carol singing, live music, street entertainers and Morris dancers adding to the atmosphere.

With the market running until 8pm, there's time to visit after school, have a wander around the stalls and enjoy the Christmas lights as it gets dark.

Friday 4th December: Christmas Shopping Trail

Friday has a new format for 2026. Rather than another outdoor market, around 20 festive pop-ups will be hosted inside independent shops and venues across Winchcombe.

It's a chance to explore the town, discover local makers and traders, and browse for Christmas presents while supporting Winchcombe's independent businesses.
