Join StarBistro for a series of sizzling summer activities throughout August!

Whether you want to relax over lunch while listening to the tunes of folk band ‘That Shallot’ or bring your children along for a family storytelling or interactive music session, there’s something for everyone in the programme. Older children may enjoy creating their own design for a personalised mug too! Many of the activities are free for StarBistro diners to enjoy.

Check out the full programme below. There’s no need to book in advance, however reserving a table by telephoning 01242 535984 will ensure they are expecting you!

The programme: Activities range from free - £8 per child.

Tuesday 6 August: Dragon Tales, 10am - 1pm: The world’s only living Dragon Whisperer will enchant children of all ages with thrilling adventure stories. Agent Green is from DCHQ – Dragon Conservation Headquarters – and tells stories about magic and fantastic creatures from many cultures. She’ll also answer all your questions about dragons, as DCHQ’s draconics expert. Free for StarBistro diners.

Wednesday 7 August: Print your own mug, 10am - 12pm: Print your own mug. Designed for children aged eight years and over. The cost of this activity is £8 per child.

Thursday 8 August: Lunchtime music, 12pm - 1pm: Aimed at diners of all ages, relax over lunch and be entertained by a local music act.

Tuesday 13 August: David Lloyd, The Music Man, 11am - 12pm: The Music Man will entertain families visiting StarBistro between 11am and 12pm with his unique blend of highly interactive music and comedy.

Wednesday 14 August: Print your own mug, 10am - 12pm: Print your own mug. Designed for children aged eight years and over. The cost of this activity is £8 per child.

Thursday 15 August: Folky Thursday, 12pm - 1pm: Join us for a free performance from acclaimed folk band ‘That Shallot’ as you enjoy your lunch.
