Description

Fabulous family fun and foodie delights await at hospice’s Autumn Fayre. Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice is once again opening its doors to local people and families to enjoy a special autumn event, raising vital funds for local families needing its care.

Taking place in the picturesque grounds of the Gloucestershire hospice on Saturday 7th September, the annual Autumn Fayre has become a firm family favourite, packed full of family fun for all to enjoy.

A variety of attractions and activities will be on offer, including children’s activities run by John Lewis & Partners and CGT Lettings & Sales, live entertainment and the inaugural Leckhampton Court Dog Show. In addition there will be a bottle tombola and a grand raffle with plenty of prizes up for grabs.

The crowds will be kept entertained with live music from local entertainers. Plus visitors will be able to enjoy tasty food and drinks from an exciting range of vendors including the Old Dough Hook Pizza Co, The Cotswold Pancake Company and The Exmouth Arms & The Royal who will be joining forces with their pop-up bar. Also on offer will be our long-standing BBQ, which is kindly donated by Creed Foodservice. People will also have the chance to chat to the hospice’s team to find out more about its job and volunteering opportunities.

Saturday 7th September

11am - 4pm

Entry: Adults £2.50 / Children under 12 free

Proceeds from the Fayre will go to Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice, which provides expert palliative care for people living with life-limiting conditions, as well as supporting their families.

Megan Platt, Community Fundraiser at Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice said, “We provide our compassionate care free of charge to those who need it however it costs £10,000 every day to keep all of our services running. The majority of this has to be fundraised, through events such as our Autumn Fayre.”

“Many people in the local area have been touched by Leckhampton Court. Not only will the Autumn Fayre raise funds to help us continue our work, but it will also be a chance for the local community to come together and have some fun.”

“We hope you will be able to join us! There will be something for everyone, from games and activities for children to entertainment and stalls to keep the adults happy, plus lots of delicious food and drink. So come and sit in the sunshine, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy all that's on offer, across our lovely site.”

The Autumn Fayre will take place on Saturday 7th September. Entry is £2.50 and children under 12 are free. There is no need to book in advance, just turn up on the day. Gates are open 11am to 4pm at Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice, Church Road, Leckhampton, Gloucestershire, GL53 0QJ.
