Sudeley Castle is delighted to be re-opening the Castle and Gardens to visitors from Monday 20 July until 1 November. Tickets must be pre-booked online and are now available to purchase.

With a fascinating history that spans over 1,000 years, 10 magnificent gardens and an estate located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, Sudeley Castle is rated amongst the top attractions on TripAdvisor for ‘Things to do in the Cotswolds’.
Sudeley Castle & Gardens is the only private castle in England to have a queen buried within its grounds – Katherine Parr, the last of Henry VIII’s six wives. Walk around the beautiful 15th century church where she lies, before taking in the breathtaking 1,200 acre estate and gardens, such as the Queen's Garden, where you’ll learn which four of England’s queens have walked before you.
Sudeley Castle & Gardens also offers a Pheasantry with 16 rare and endangered species of birds, an Adventure Playground, which includes a wooden fort and zip wire and a brand new 10-piece assault course – perfect for keeping the children entertained.
Finish a lovely day out with a relaxing drink and delicious snacks at one of our two cafés, before choosing a souvenir from our visitor centre, which stocks vintage items, gifts, plants and many locally-sourced products.
We regret that dogs are not allowed in the Castle grounds or Gardens – including the Children’s Play area – apart from registered assistance dogs. Dogs are welcome at the Visitor Centre.
Purchase your tickets here for a memorable day out for all the family. Please note that online ticket sales can only be purchased at least a day in advance. If you would you like to buy tickets for the same day, then please purchase tickets in-person at our Visitor Centre instead.
