Sorry, there are no future dates available

Join Cheltenham Trust at Pittville Pump Room and park for what promises to be Cheltenham’s largest free two day community celebration of Her Majesty The Queen’s platinum jubilee.

The picnic and party in the park celebration starts on Thursday 2 June, from 4pm, with free live music from 6pm with DJ Paul Grace who will be playing sounds from across the decades of Her Majesty’s reign, followed by crowd pleasers The Lady and The Sax from 7pm.
The countdown to the lighting of Cheltenham’s beacon starts from 9.15pm. The beacon will be lit from the balcony of the pump room by Cheltenham mayor. BBC Points West presenter Steve Knibbs will be joining us to lead the countdown to this historic spectacle that will light up the night sky.

On Friday bring your chairs and picnic rugs to Pittville Park where the fun starts from midday with music throughout the afternoon into the evening. You can pick up a picnic from the Heritage Café which will be serving a choice of a classic picnic or a cream tea. The café will be staying open over the two days, until 10pm on Thursday and until 9pm on Friday, and there will also be a pop-up bar and our gelato stand, jubilee cupcakes and tarts.
