Pilley Bridge Nature Reserve is a proper hidden gem! Street parking is available on Mead Road (off Old Bath Road) then head down the public footpath. It’s only a short walk, but it’s packed with interest for little ones.

Ace and Honey (4 and 7) love adding sticks to the dens along the path and totally adore playing on the section of disused railway track, but their absolute best bit is the pond. There are stones to throw into the water, sticks to float on top of the water and on dry days, there’s a further section of woodland to explore beyond the pond (avoid on wet days as the mud is SO deep)!

The nature reserve is within waking distance of Naunton Park if your little ones still have energy to burn!
