One of the best-used parks in Cheltenham, Montpellier Gardens is close to Cheltenham town centre and is popular with locals and visitors throughout the year.

There is a toddler play area with a variety of equipment for little ones to enjoy and a skate park for older children.

Toddler Play Equipment includes: Cradle Swings, Roundabout, Springers, Car, Train, Slide, Climbing Frame

The Garden Café has seating next to the play area and is open year round for drinks, food and ice-cream.

Other attractions within the park are the bandstand (with a regular schedule of concerts during summer months), tennis courts, Garden’s Gallery and a small arboretum of interesting and unusual trees.

This park is within walking distance of town with on-street pay-and-display parking at the Montpellier Terrace and Montpellier Walk entrances

Tennis courts are £3.45 per 30 minutes and can be booked at the Garden Cafe on online here

There are lots of free events held in Montpellier Gardens throughout the year including Jazz in the Gardens and the Montpellier Fiesta, with live music, food stalls and a great atmosphere.
