Burrows Field and BMX Pump Track

The Leckhamptom BMX Pump Track is completely free to us and open to riders of all abilities.

It was professionally created in autumn 2017 after a campaign from the local community to secure permission and funding to create a free-to-use BMX track for youngsters in the area.

Please note: Helmets are encouraged and long sleeve clothing is recommended.

You can find the pump track in Burrows Field, Leckhampton - which is also home to a play area, football pitches, car park, cricket pitch, infomal recreation areas

Watching and learning. He cycled 4 miles there, countless circuits of the track, then 4 miles back home. It’s no wonder he ate us out of snacks and chicken curry yesterday! . Videos in stories, there weren’t many I could share, due to other kids being in them, but they both improved so much after their first few shaky turns (with plenty of wipeouts).
