Christmas Lights Switch OnEvents

This year's Cheltenham light switch on is inspired by Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, the three ghosts of Christmas will lead crowds through the town, reminding us that Christmas is a time for people to come together. The larger-than-life puppets will depict the spirits of Christmas - past, present and future. The ghosts of Christmas will journey across Cheltenham at 4.30pm to meet Father Christmas as he lights up the town with his festive magic on The Promenade at 5.30pm.
One ghost will start at The Brewery Quarter; one from near Cambray Place and the other from Montpellier. As they tell their stories, they will meet near Neptune's Fountain and gather near The Queens Hotel to join Father Christmas to switch on the lights. Which ghost will you choose to follow? Please note - Photos shown are from the Cheltenham Christmas light switch on in 2018 where a giant witch paraded through the town.
