In order to raise funds for the Naunton Park PTA, and to help with any New Year decluttering, they have organised another clothes & shoe collection with Bag2School for Monday 31st January.

The basic premise is as follows:
- Sort through cupboards and wardrobes and donate unwanted textiles – this can include adults’ and children’s clothes, shoes (tied together please), hats, belts, handbags and soft toys, towels, bedding, curtains- Put your textiles into plastic bags (any type will do)
- Bring the bag(s) to outside the Naunton Park Primary School office between 8am – 9.30am on Monday 31st January
- Bag2School will pick up donation and weigh it. The PTA will receive 30p per kilo.

In addition to raising funds for the PTA, the exercise will hopefully raise awareness amongst the children of the benefits of recycling and reuse; and divert unwanted textiles away from landfill.

As a nation we still send 350,000 tonnes of textiles to landfill every year.

Please do ask grandparents, friends and neighbours to have a sort out as well!

Bag2School will be collecting from the school on Monday 31 January.
