If you're heading to the Lido this weekend, you'll also be able to catch our wonderful, fantastic rescue services demostrating their techniques in Rescue Day. Expect demos, activities and rescue dogs. Under 16s go free. Find out more

Sunday (Father's Day)

There's something pretty epic going on in Montpellier Gardens this Sunday... INTERNATIONAL PICNIC DAY The much-loved Garden Cafe will be expanding its menu to include Prosecco and strawberries and picnickers (is that a word?) can enjoy a choir in the bandstand, ukulele buskers, face painting and a circus entertainer. Don't forget there's free entry to the Jet Age Musuem where visitors can try and treasure hunt and climb aboard a real Vulcan bomber cockpit. Find out more

There are steam trains leaving Cheltenham Racecourse station almost hourly this weekend with return trips to Toddington costing £7 for kids and £16.50 for adults (under 5s free). There's a play area, cafe and museum in Toddington but the best part is the journey. Find out more

For the Grown Ups

It's not too late to grab tickets for Joseph and the Amazing Tecnicolor Dreamcoat at the Everyman this weekend. Joe McElderry suits-up for a star turn in a show that has been getting rave reviews. Book tickets via the Everyman website.

Saturday and Sunday: Cheltenham Open Studio - It's the last couple of days to explore Cheltenham Open Studios. 200 Cheltenham artists welcome you in to 73 venues around the town. This happens once every 2 years. Find out more

Out Of Town Highlights

Saturday 17th June: Just up the road in Hucclecote is the Hucclecote Show. A free family day out with a fun fair, dog show, dancing, live music and bouncy castles. Visit the Hucclecote Show website for more.

Saturday and Sunday: For a day out of epic proportions, head to the Three Counties Show in Malvern. There's so much going on from stalls to shows to a wellington boot exhibition(?). Tickets: Adults £23, Children £7, under 5s go free. Visit the Three Counties Show pages
