The summer holidays are well underway and we hope you’re having fun in the sun (thunder, lightning and downpours included)! With so much to do and so much time off, parenting duties can get a little pricey. From days out and trips to the ice cream van, to replacing school shoes and those footballs kicked over the fence, we could all do with saving pennies here and there.
Fortunately, a few restaurants in town are currently offering free food for kids this month. Yes, FREE! We’ve rounded up these choice morsels for your feasting pleasure - dinner is served :)
Kids Eat Free in Cheltenham
Air conditioning, glowy golf balls, and a giant dinosaur all comes as standard at the Cheltenham Rocks favourite, Mr Mulligans, which gets our stamp of approval for fun and fantastic free food. With children eating FREE all week (even on the weekends) this summer holiday, it’s a no-brainer. Customers receive one free kids meal with every main meal purchased from their menu between 3pm - 6pm, with a side and soft drink included. Free meals include chicken goujons, fish and chips, pasta or a burger. Find out more.

Bringing Sri Lankan street food to Cheltenham and now the rest of the South West, an explosion of flavours awaits! Fresh vegetables, meats and fish, sweet and fiery ‘Cocotails’ and fantastic customer service promises an evening of relaxed, family-friendly dining. Known for its ‘naturally abundant’ vegan and vegetarian cuisine - this excuse for dinner out is too tasty to miss! With a choice of three dishes, kids under 10 eat free every day of the week (with a purchase of an adult main). Sadly sweets not included, but we’re not complaining - we’re busy booking! Kids eat free at YO! this summer! In fact, they can grab a starter, main and drink from the Mini Ninja menu and it’ll be taken off your bill! If your little ones have a sweet tooth, you can add a dessert for just £1.50! Offer valid for for mini karate choppers aged 12 and under with accompanying adult(s), spending a minimum of £10 on dine in food and drink. Kids eat for £1 at Bella Italia Cheltenham this holiday, valid from 12pm every day except Saturdays until 18th August, so you’ve still got a few weeks to tuck in to some tasty italian cuisine. Small print; the offer entitles diners to one kids Piccolo or Grande meal for £1 with each purchase of a full priced adult main. With hand-stretched pizzas, fresh and tasty salads or steamy bowls of flavourful pastas on the menu - I think we can stretch to £1! Find out more.
A favourite with yummy mummies and great grandads alike, this buggy-friendly restaurant is the perfect place to grab lunch (and this offer) while it's sunny enough to eat outdoors! The Carluccio's ‘Kids Eat For £1’ offer is valid with every regular adult main purchased throughout the summer holidays for diners between 12pm - 5pm any day of the week, that’s one child's meal from the kid’s menu for children aged 10 years or under. We thought this was worth a mention and we think you'll agree - Brasserie Blanc Cheltenham has recently launched their new, exciting kids menu, starring brand new fun, friendly dog characters and a selection of fresh, healthy, seasonal dishes!
‘From falafel wraps to Indian samosas with vegan mayonnaise, the “ulti-mutt” burger with a choice of toppings through to gluten-free pasta with homemade tomato sauce, pesto and cheese – there’s something for all. Little ones can finish with vanilla madeleines with chocolate dipping sauce or a fresh fruit pot with marshmallows and everyone leaves with a doggy bag of “pup-corn”.’
