Get out and enjoy the sunshine* (*tbc) with the kids, burn off some chocolate energy and you may even see the Easter Bunny!
We've gathered together the best Easter hunts in the area - they're so good, even Willy Wonka would queue up to attend! Sadly Johnny Depp will not be in attendance despite his obvious commitments as Willy Wonka or Roux (Chocolat), but here's a picture....ahhhhhhh.

Easter Egg Hunts in Cheltenham
After the success of last year's event The Great Woodmancote Pre-School Easter Egg Hunt returns for the local community again! The hunt takes place on Saturday 24th March, from 10am - 12pm at the pre-school and all families are welcome. Tea, coffee and a selection of homemade cakes make for perfect refreshments for grown-ups, while children can find hidden eggs, take part in fun activities (TBC) and win prizes! £3 per child entry payable on the day (cash only). The St Marks & Hesters Way Community Association Easter Eggstravaganza involves an outdoor Easter egg hunt..and so much more! For a lovely, local Easter hunt that's close to town, this one is for you. Cobalt Supporters is teaming up with Maggie’s cancer charity to hold The Great Easter Egg Trail in Sandford Park on Saturday 31 March, from 1pm - 4pm. Promising to be an egg-citing, fun-filled event for all ages! Entry is £2.50 per child and quiz sheets will be available on the day from the Lido café, Sandford Park. After the huge success of last years Easter Egg Hunt, it's back and better than ever! Come along to Glenfall House Good Friday 30th March from 12pm - 3pm, for a fun-filled afternoon. Taking place outdoors in the glorious gardens, there's prizes, childrens activities, food and drink and a yummy hunt promising lots of chocolatey treats! Bunny’s been hidden his precious choccy treats at National Trust locations across the UK…and it’s up to you to find them! With a few clues to crack along the way, its time to join the hunt and enjoy the Easter fun at Chedworth Roman Villa! The Cadbury Bunny has been over to this ancient site leaving behind clues for you to find, complete the trail to win a Cadbury chocolate prize to take home! Taking place on Good Friday (30th March), Easter Saturday (31st March), Easter Sunday (1st April) and Easter Monday (2nd April), from 10am - 3:30pm daily. Oh Bouy! How Egg-citing! The Boathouse are running not one, but two Easter hunts! The team are celebrating the return of the boats in action by holding a special Easter hunt around the lake! Pop down and give it a go from Saturday 31st March - Tuesday 3rd April. Boats will be running from 11am until 3pm, costing £10.55 for 1 hour or £7 for ½ an hour. A chocolate cream egg for each child completing the hunt!

The Boathouse are running another egg-cellent Easter egg hunt throughout the Easter weekend, pick up your clue sheet from The Boathouse and see how many eggs you can find! Come and join in the fun on the farm during the Easter holidays for the Easter Egg Trail at Primrose Vale Farm Shop! The trail runs each year for the 2 weeks of the Easter holidays and it suitable for children of all ages (but most enjoyed by those aged between 3 - 15). There’s an Ultimate Easter Challenge, a Spring Hunt and a Toddler Trail, so ages are catered for! Sturdy footwear is recommended, hot drinks and light refreshments will be available too. The FREE annual Easter Egg Hunt at The London Inn returns! Take a trip down to the garden to hunt out those chocolate eggs - there's 1,200 of them to be found on the grounds and in the trees for little ones (parents may need to be on hand to reach for those)! Drop in any time during your allocated hour time slot (pre-booking online required) to start the Easter trail and earn yourself a treat! Follow the trail of clues on the 1 mile walk around the common, answering questions to find your way back to collect your prize! Adults free, £2.50 (plus booking fee) per child. Get egg-cited for the cracking Painswick Easter Egg Hunt - it's going to be egg-stra special! This an annual community event is run by the Painswick Playgroup Committee to raise vital funds for Painswick Playgroup. This year it will take place around St Mary’s Church Yard and the village centre on Easter Saturday 31st March, from 12pm - 4pm. 34 beautifully designed eggs are hiding all around the village and every completed trail will be rewarded with a chocolate prize! In addition to the trail, there's a visit from the Easter Bunny, bouncy castles, face painting, hot food and cake stalls, a chocolate tombola, teddy bear parachuting and more! The Easter Fun Day at The Plough in Prestbury was such a fun and popular event last year, it's back again by popular demand! There is of course a grand Easter egg hunt, along with face painting, a charity cake sale, an Easter bonnet competition and a visit from The Music Man of Cheltenham to keep the kids entertained!
