If you're counting the days, we're officially half way through the summer holidays! Yikes. Hopefully during that time we've given you a couple of ideas to keep boredom at bay, there's been a lot going on around town and lots more still to come. Stay tuned!

Saturday and Sunday

Starting Friday and running until Sunday night, The Wheatsheaf in Leckhampton invite you along to their Sausage and Cider Festival. There will be a bouncy castle, live music, some kids entertainment and lots of sausages and ciders! Find out more

Hollywood Bowl are holding a Family Fun Fest this weekend with face painting, a treasure hunt and some special prizes. Find out more.

The free pet workshops at Pets At Home continue with spaces currently available at Gallagher Retail Park for Small Furries (Saturday) and Fishy Friends (Sunday) . Interactive workshops for little ones to learn about pets. Find out more

Jury's Inn near the Golden Valley are holding a charity fun day with a bouncy castle, live music, a lucky dip and arts & crafts. Entry is free. Find out more

Pop along to Coronation Square Market where you'll find two extra special stalls this weekend... the pre-loved baby sling and carrier stall from Cheltenham Sling Library and a Teddy Tombola in aid of UNICEF, organised and run by Megan, aged 8.

Winchcombe Library is hosting a free storytime. Hear all about Julia Donaldson’s newest character, Detective Dog Nell, then make your own magnifying glass – perfect for any budding Animal Agent! Find out more

Sunday

A very special Summer Open Day is taking place at Arvonia Vets this Sunday with a guest appearance from Lionel, aka 'Scraggs', the dog. There will be stalls, refreshments, a BBQ and face-painting. Free entry. Find out more

Out Of Town Highlights

It's the Bristol Balloon Fiesta this weekend. If you've been before you'll know what a fab day out this is. Stalls, fairground rides, entertainment and a load of hot air balloons! Free entry. Visit the Balloon Fiesta website
