Holiday clubs are a fun and fantastic way for your child to spend their free time during the half term holidays. Not only do they get to make some new friends, they get to learn new skills and may even discover a hidden talent by trying something new. We’ve rounded up some of the best local holiday clubs in Cheltenham, suitable for ages 4 - 16.
Cheltenham Town Community Trust Football & Goalkeeping Course
Suitable ages: 5 - 12 years, boys and girls.
Cost: £12 per day or £40 for all 4 days.
When: Monday 12th - Thursday 15th February, 9am - 3pm.

What goes on? If you are looking for value for money then look no further! Once again the Cheltenham Town FC Community Trust is running their extremely popular holiday course. The courses are jam packed with footballing fun, games and prizes. Every course is delivered at a secure venue by FA qualified, First Aid trained and enhanced DBS checked coaches. Places are available for boys and girls of all abilities aged 5-12 years inclusive.

Theatre Studio ‘Play In Two Days’ Workshops
Suitable ages: Reception - Year 7 children
Cost: £45 for the course
When: Thursday 15th & Friday 16th February, 10am - 3.30pm.
Where: Cheltenham Playhouse, 47-52 Bath Road, Cheltenham, GL53 7HG.
What goes on? Come along this February Half-Term to take part in the ‘Play in Two Days’, designed specifically for students (Reception - Year 7 Students). Led by experienced and trained tutors, the children will interact whilst playing fun theatre games; increasing their confidence both individually and when working within a group. Storytelling, creating characters, learning songs and movement, culminates into a short performance. The Theme for the Workshops is ‘Spies’!

Just Camps - Specialists in Kids Activity Camps
Suitable ages: 4 - 12 years (Main Camp) & 12 - 16 years (Rookie Coach).
Cost: 9am - 12.30pm (half day): £20, 9am - 3.30pm (full day): £26, 8.30am - 5.30pm (extended day): £33.

What goes on? Fun, themed activities including Star Wars and Sleeping Pirates. Sports including football, hockey, basketball, dodgeball and athletics. Arts, crafts and games, such as Nintendo Switch, Nerf fun, Ninja Warriors and ‘challenge the coach’!

Keen Kids Can Ltd
Suitable ages: 4 - 12 years
Cost: Full day rate £28 for first child and £22 for a sibling. Half day £23 for the first child and £18 for a sibling. Childcare vouchers also accepted.
When: Monday 12th - Friday 16th February, 8:30am - 5:30pm. For an extra £5 per child you can drop off at 8am and / or pick up at 6pm.

What goes on? A child-focused activity scheme, activities are both indoor and outdoor, with a combination of arts, crafts and sports activities.

Petelo Rugby All Stars TAG Rugby Camp
Suitable ages: Reception - year 4 juniors.
Cost: £35 for 2 days.
When: Wednesday 14th - Thursday 15th February, 8:30am - 4pm.

What goes on? This special half term club promises lots of fun, games and activities for your child to enjoy. RFU qualified coaches are experienced in playing rugby and have a passion to promote the sport for boys and girls to take part. Your child will develop the ability to work as part of a team while making new friends, learning the fundamental rugby skills of balancing, catching, Stork Stands, decision making, ripping tags, foot work skills, passing and handling.

NE14 Tennis: Grand Slam Tennis Camps
Suitable ages: 4 - 12 years

What goes on? These exciting and sporty camps are an ideal way to keep your child active when school is out! NE14 Tennis offers friendly, local tennis coaching, with this camp catering to every child’s level of ability. Enjoyable and challenging games and activities included!

Andy Tucker Soccer Camps at Bishops Cleeve & Bournside Sports Centres
Suitable ages: 4 - 12 years, boys and girls.
Cost: £16.95 per day, full day only.
When: Monday 12th - Friday 16th February (split between 2 locations), 9am - 4pm.
Where: Bournside Sports Centre, Warden Hill Road, Cheltenham, GL51 3EF (Monday & Tuesday). Bishops Cleeve Sports Centre Two Hedges Road, Bishops Cleeve, GL52 8AD (Wednesday - Friday).
What goes on? The camp runs all week and is split between 2 locations; Monday and Tuesday at Bournside Sports Centre, Wednesday - Friday at Bishops Cleeve Sports Centre. The primary aim of all the coaches is to integrate children of all abilities in a safe and happy environment, achieving an enjoyable learning experience. The camp focus is on children enjoying themselves, ensuring all children are treated equally and not according to their ability level. Fun football-based games and activities, don’t forget to pack sports clothing, trainers, shin pads and drinks bottles!

Dunalley Primary School Holiday Club
Suitable ages: 3 - 11 years.
Cost: 8am - 1pm (morning): £10, 8am - 3pm (short day): £15, 1pm - 6pm (afternoon): £10, 8am - 6pm (all day): £20. This includes fruit, drinks and snacks. No breakfast will be provided and children will need to bring packed lunch. What goes on? Children can relax and enjoy themselves, or participate in a variety of planned activities. Pupils from all schools are welcome for full care. Holiday Club takes place in the preschool building ensuring all facilities are child-friendly and safe, with access to school playing field, adventure playground, copse and a selection of bikes and trikes. Bikes and scooters (with helmets) can also be brought in from home. From 'bug hunts' and making dens, to time in the reading corner, television and computer games corner. Arts, crafts, activities, cookery, and themed days such as animal petting and summer!
